NAMM 2010 unveiled in Anaheim on Jan 14. Music enthusiasts and industry insiders hope the show can give the lagged industry a boost. The major trend of the music industry is very obvious going towards digital. You can tell by the the crowd gathering around the WAVE, Ableton booths. Here are some of the cool toys that for the digital musicians in 2010.

Fender G-DEC 3 Amp - Fender introduces new digital entertainment center amp series. Armed with plenty of digital amp and modeling effects and 100 presets and loops, these little baby amps would be the solo guitarist's best friend. USB connection to the computer for recording. And Fender even bundles this model with Ableton Live software. This little baby will be all you need to record great guitar tracks.

Digitech JamMan Looper - These loopers store 35 mins of loops and as well as SD card where you can store up to 16-48 hrs of music. This is far better than Boss looper. Also feature USB connectivity for recording.

Boss eBand - This is just like a miniature amp in a tiny box with powerful Boss sound. Plug in your guitar and jam along with mp3 tracks. Plenty of effects for all genres and styles. Don't underestimate this little box. You'll be amazed by how rich the sound is. And of course, this baby also has a USB interface for recording.

The hardware manufacturers recognize the digital age has come. Customers demand a device that can be played on the stage as well in the studio for recording. Therefore USB interface or SD card are almost absolute necessities in many equipments nowadays. Glad to see NAMM 2010 kicked off with a cool fresh bang. 2010 is still going to be a tough year for the music industry, but with the digital revolution a new chapter just begins.
